Playlist for 7/22/09: I'll Cry If I Want To

Started with a belated birthday wish to myself (totally forgot!) and finished with a tribute to the artists playing Merge’s XX shows this week. I will do a I Love My Label for Merge in August or September, but next week I plan to do July’s for Bloodshot, which turns 15 this year and is having BBQ’s across the country, including in Madison on Aug. 22 for free. Playing are Justin Townes Earles, Bottle Rockets, Bobby Bare Jr, Ha Ha Tonka, Deadstring Brothers and Deano Waco and The Meat Purveyors.
