Playlist for 1/6/10: Tearing Down the Walls of Jericho

I tried a trivia question in relation to my opening theme this week: It Happened One Night, the classic movie the Mrs. and I watched New Year’s Eve. The prize? Two free tickets to the Residents on Feb. 16 at Turner Hall. The response? A very quiet phone. Not sure if I’ll try that again. New music this week from Grant Hart, Visqueen and Mama Rosin, a tribute to the recently departed Willie Mitchell and an extended set inspired by Joe Bonomo’s killer (heh, heh) new book Jerry Lee Lewis: Lost and Found.

No problem, Joe. I'll have a review of the book for Country Standard Time in the next week or so. Thanks for listening to the show and for the inspiration.
